Saint Joseph Academy is a Filipino, Catholic and Dominican institution of learning dedicated to serve the young in upholding the truth through a Christ-centered education, a deep love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary through her Rosary, a life of service and compassion for others, and the pursuit of academic excellence for the development of a fully integral person
GENERAL OBJECTIVES and GOALS
Saint Joseph Academy envisions to graduate learners who:
1. appreciate the beauty and meaning of life and respect the rights of every individual as a child of God;
2. discover and develop their innate skills, form right attitude, values and are ready to face the challenges of life; and
3. live the values of Christ and the charism of St. Dominic.
This school will realize its objectives by:
1. creating a wholesome Christian atmosphere in the school community;
2. providing activities that will promote the total development of each learner; and
3. fostering the value of self esteem, self worth, trust, respect, love and service among the members of the school community.
Saint Joseph Academy is a Dominican school founded in 1975 and located at Brgy. Ilaya, Bugasong, Antique. It had been governed by the Dominican Sisters of the Holy Rosary, Molo, Iloilo City. It is K-12 ready and teaches learners Christian values from kinder to senior high school.
Senior High school offers Academic Tracks such as Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Humanities and Social
Sciences (HUMSS). It also offers Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Tracks such as
Information Computer Technology (ICT).
Junior High school has two sections. Regular section is for
beginning, developing and approaching proficient learners. STE section is for
proficient and advance learners who excel in Science and Mathematics.
Saint Joseph Academy launches activities whose objectives are in line with the school’s vision and mission. These events help learners develop their skills and talents and excel in academics.
